Performances will take place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 Jan at the Playhouse Theatre Hobart.
Performance times 2pm and 5pm.
My child is 10 years or under can they take part? No, we’ve found that the younger students haven’t quite reached the social developmental stage to be able to work in this senior student-focused program.
My child is neurodivergent, should they take part? Students will be learning scripts, songs and choreography as part of the show. They will be working at a fast pace, the rehearsal room will be noisy, there will be specific costume, hair and makeup and they will need to be able to work as a team, focus and follow direction quickly. If you aren’t sure whether this environment will work for them please have a chat with us before signing up.
I don’t want to be onstage, but I’m interested in helping behind the scenes? We’d love to hear from you! In particular, we have opportunities for students to learn about the backstage areas of stage management, lighting & followspot, sound & cuelab/technical setup, set/prop construction and crewing on the show.
