VCA takes another ExitLeft student

VCA takes another ExitLeft student

ExitLeft is excited to announce that year twelve student Philip Humphrey has received two offers for the Victorian College of the Arts and staff member Campbell Braithwaite received an offer for the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts!

Philip was the only student we had auditioning this year, which doesn’t seem like a big deal until you find out just how phenomenally well he did. The VCA offered him a place in BOTH their Musical Theatre and Acting courses. WAAPA invited him to do their foundation course and The Arts Academy loved him!

Philip has worked incredibly hard over the past two years to prepare and we are so proud of him.He is very excited to be taking up the VCA musical theatre offer as this was his first preference! (Photo: Philip performing at the Hobart Carols in the Cathedral on Saturday).

Staff member Campbell, who has been teaching at ExitLeft whilst on his gap year, also received an offer for WAAPA to study Musical Theatre as one of just 8 boys they are taking!

For the ExitLeft Performance Academy, Philip becomes our 11th student to get into the VCA and shows that the performing arts skills we help develop at ExitLeft are consistently above national standard and that our students are the ones to watch out for.

Congratulations and well done Philip and Campbell! #stepintothespotlight #exitleftpeformanceacademy
