MAKING GREAT FRIENDS
“She absolutely loves coming to ExitLeft, it’s the highlight of her week”
The Kids in Grade Three to Six are learning to work together and in the process making great friends. They love what they are doing so much that they don’t notice how quickly they are developing skills. This also is the perfect time to build on that little spark of talent.
SINGING AND ACTING CLASSES
The upper primary years are when kids develop life-long ExitLeft friendships. Classes become the high point of the week where students hang out, do something they love and learn the skills to perform safely and confidently. The will develop healthy techniques, how to work as a team, to be creative on demand and how to perform in front of anyone. Grade Three to Six classes run during the school terms.

PERSONALISED SINGING/GUITAR LESSONS
Individual lessons are a great way to focus on development of skills and performance techniques. Students take part in Eisteddfods and AMEB exams. Maquarie University studies have shown that individual lessons give students an advantage in the classroom. The results showed that children exposed to at least a year and a half of private music lessons have an edge when it comes to detecting patterns in the world around us, with musical training making their brains better at statistical learning which is a key building block for learning language and reading.
- For students in Grades 3 & 4 a 15 minute solo lesson is perfect
- Once students are in Grades 5 & 6 they find a 30 minute lesson is better
School aged students must be enrolled in a Singing and Acting Class to be eligible for individual singing lessons.
- 15 or 30min Singing
- 30min Guitar
- 30min Acting (available if a student requires help with specific audition or performance coaching)
