THE EXITLEFT PERFORMANCE ACADEMY

The ExitLeft Performance Academy was founded in 2002 out of a need to provide young Tasmanians with high-level performing arts training. A unique program was created by Principal Ian Williams teaching confidence and creativity through singing and acting. Proving hugely popular, the Academy has seen thousands of children come through the studios over the years.

The Academy has also created a name for itself nationally with advanced students consistently receiving offers into the top-level performing arts courses. Students are known for their high-level performance skills, ability to work in a team, calmness under pressure and being creative on demand.

Through the ExitLeft Productions arm, the Academy students are provided with a wide range of performances opportunities. From singing with the Australian Opera, being part of television series to standing onstage in front of more than 20,000 people in fully staged events the students gain a breadth of experience that would not be available anywhere else in Australia.
