A classic whodounit
A strong ensemble featuring John X, Andrew Casey, Pip Tyrrell, Styne Ashton, Seraya Hamley, Andrea Moody, Sandra Wilson, Petr Divis, Stuart Pearce and Gail Frizwell. Murder on the Nile toured to both Launceston and Devonport during 2002.
A play by the world famous detective novelist Agatha Christie, Murder on the Nile is based on the 1937 book Death on the Nile. The play is unusual in that it does not feature Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple. The story takes place in the lounge of the paddle steamer lotus where a disparate group of passengers are enjoying a tour down the nile. One of the passengers is killed, but who is the killer?
