Midnight, not a sound from the pavement
An areana spectacular that broke box office records for audiences in the state with more than 20,000 patrons, Cats was staged at the Derwent Entertainment Centre in 2007. For this production international star Debra Byrne reprised her role of Grizabella wowing audiences anew. Cats also featured Michelle Howell (Rumpleteazer), Ben Paine (Mungojerrie), Craig Wellington (Gus), Nicole Simms (Jenny Anydots), Alan Bacon (Deuteronomy), Scott Farrow (The Rum Tum Tugger), Michael Lampard (Growltiger), Christopher Waterhouse (Skimbleshanks) and Andrew Casey (Bustopher Jones).

One of the longest running and best known musicals, Cats is based on the poems by T.S Eliot contained in 'Old Possum's book of Practical Cats' with music composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
